9GOATS BLACK OUT
9GOATS BLACK OUT are an alternative rock band that formed in late 2007 in Tokyo. The band is made up of ryo (vocals), utA (guitar) and hati (bass). They have two support members, akaya (manipulate) and aki (drums). ryo is previously known as vocalist of the band GULLET.
The band's first release, the mini album devils in bedside, was released exclusively on the band's website in limited form in January 2008. The mini album was re-released officially in Japan in April. On August 8, 2008, the band's first live concert took place in Shinjuku, Tokyo at Takadanobaba AREA. Their first single, "Sleeping Beauty", was released in September.
The band released their second mini album, Black rain, on February 14, 2009.
On April 22nd 2009, 9GOATS BLACK OUT signed to the German label, CLJ Records, which released Black rain for European sale.
The band released their debut full-length album, TANATOS, on March 24th, 2010.
On April 26th 2010, they announced an activity pause on their official website.
In early 2011, 9GOATS BLACK OUT resumed activities and performed live in Shibuya O-WEST on January 22, 2011. This performance was recorded for a live DVD, Melancholy Pool, that was released April 23.
